Dora was with us for only 73 years; feels far too short. Those who knew Dora will tell you they were blessed to know her. Those who met her, often never forget her. The world is a better place through the lives she touched and the people she inspired.
Dora was loved by her family, friends, and students and will be missed.
Dora always wanted to see her family and friends. She loved being around people and got energy and hope from seeing their faces and hearing their stories. The energy that Dora gave was created by those around her and returned in kind.
As a teacher she touched the lives of hundreds of students including literally saving lives of some. She also taught friends and family to look at things differently; that there were more important things in life and to cherish the moment.
Nobody will say that Dora had an easy life, but no matter what happend to her she always remained positive. She never gave up and continued to help others even when she needed help herself. She always focused on the "good" and never let any problems keep her down.
Services were held at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary.
Dora was burried in her parents' plot at the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.

Dora had a love for many things and was full of curiosity. She loved anything involving people and sharing. These are just a few of the things that gave her happiness.
Dora taught for over 40 years and touched the lives of hundreds of students of all ages. Her impact lives on through her students.
Dora often shared even when she really couldn't. She helped the families of students in need with food, toys, and more.
Dora loved spending time with friends and family, especially her kids and grandchildren. She loved being around people.
Dora loved learning about different countries and often talked about travel; especially to Mexico. She loved different cultures & people.
Dora's was always excited to try new ethnic foods. Her signature enchiladas were a family favorite. She also had a sweet tooth.
Dora loved technoloy, gadgets, and robots. She was one of the first to get an Apple computer at home and sparked interest in her kids.
Friends and Family of Dora know she was a dreamer. She always hoped for the best and believed things would eventually work out.
Dora loved to sing and dance, especially cultural dances. She loved to collect and display art from different cultures.
Dora was very creative and always coming up with new ideas for her students. She could always be found working on a new project.
